SEX AND THE CITY
Sex and the city. Sex and the City tells the story of Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda who live their lives in Manhattan four years after the television series Sex and the City ended. Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Big (Chris Noth), is planning to move to live together in an apartment but Carrie become hesitant with the legitimate rights of their residence if later they have to split up. Doubts arose after Carrie attended the auction of goods belonging to a woman who split with her boyfriend and forced to move from their homes because it is not tied to a valid marriage. Big then suggested they get married.
Meanwhile Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), are facing problems with his job. Likewise, the social life and the problems of his son, Brady. His relationship with Steve (David Eigenberg), has long been cold, and they were never the same bed again more than six months. Miranda heart shattered when Steve claimed to have slept with another woman. He then left Steve, back to the family home in Brooklyn, then back to Manhattan. Meanwhile, Samantha (Kim Cattrall) who are pursuing a successful career in television, has just moved to LA with Smith (Jason Lewis). But Samantha difficult to get a personal moment for himself. He even obsessed with having an affair with another man because the task Samantha who often commute LA and New York. Samantha adopt sesekor female dog that he considered his loyal friend every time Smith did not along with it.

Charlotte (Kristin Davis), on the other hand had a relatively quiet life with Harry (Evan Handler), and Lily adopted son of Chinese descent. Charlotte quiet life did not load she felt safe and even feared that life is almost perfect it will disperse someday.
Starting from Carrie and Big's wedding plans here, four women turned out to discover if they have differences with their respective partner and must give their relationship broke up. Among them are also tensions, especially Carrie who felt marriage failed because Miranda. But they also realize that only love can glue back all of their relationships.
Sex and the City is a collection of essays written by Candace Bushnell in 1994 in The New York Observer. A paper based on the life Bushnell and his colleagues first published in novel form in 1997. In 1998 HBO picked up the story Bushnell became the television series until 2004 with a total of six season (season broadcasting). Film Sex and the City earned more than 50 Emmy Award nominations and won seven of them. Film series has also received 24 Golden Globe Award nominations and won eight times, including Best TV Series, Best Actress in a TV series (Sarah Jessice Parker) and Best Supporting Actree in a TV Series (Kim Cattrall).

The film's director, Michael Patrick King, is a director and an American television writer and producer known for handling serial Sex and the City where he has been involved in the making of this series since season two and write the whole script for season six. Michael Patrick King also wrote the tv series The Comeback, Will & Grace, Cybill, and Murphy Brown. Men who had been repeatedly nominated and won an Emmy Award openly admitted that he was gay!
Sex and the City seven years ago in May 2008 is directly perched at the top of the American box office by collecting 56,848,056 US Dollar on pertma week of screenings shift to the second position the film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
